About the Role

  1. Customer Acquisition

    • Identify and onboard new customers

    • Promote bank products like savings accounts, current accounts, loans, credit cards, insurance, etc.

  2. Product Promotion & Sales

    • Explain features and benefits of banking products

    • Cross-sell and up-sell relevant financial products based on customer needs

  3. Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

    • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention

  4. Lead Generation & Follow-ups

    • Generate leads through calls, visits, referrals, and campaigns

    • Follow up with prospective customers and close sales

  5. KYC & Documentation

    • Collect and verify customer documents

    • Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and internal bank policies

  6. Target Achievement

    • Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets

    • Track performance and report progress to supervisors

  7. Market Awareness

    • Stay updated on bank products, interest rates, and competitor offerings

    • Share market feedback with the management

  8. Customer Support Coordination

    • Assist customers with basic queries

    • Coordinate with internal teams for issue resolution

  9. Compliance & Ethics

    • Follow RBI/bank regulations and ethical sales practices

    • Avoid mis-selling and ensure transparency

  10. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain sales records and customer data

  • Submit daily/weekly sales and activity reports
